Drawing Window

The Drawing Window of Corel-DRAW X5 is the workspace area that is bordered by scroll bars and various controls. It includes the Drawing Page and the surrounding area. The Drawing Page is a rectangular region inside a drawing window. It is the printable area of your Work Area. When you open Corel-DRAW, the Drawing Page appears with the default size. However, you can set the size and orientation of the Drawing Page from the Property Bar as per your requirements.
Note: The region outside the Drawing page is known as Drawing Window. And it can be used to place objects that you frequently use in your drawing. For example: You can create a rectangle and place it outside the Drawing Page and use the rectangle any number of times by making copies of it from the Drawing Window. Objects placed outside the Drawing Pae are not printed but they increase the size of the file. Therefore, after finalizing the document, it is recommended to remove all the objects present outside the Drawing page to keep the file size low.
